End fed-Halfe-wave antenna

The End Fed half wave antenna is comparable to the performance you can get with a common dipole, the differenci is that it only require a single mounting point.
This feature makes this antenna concept ideal for portable operations like field day, holiday style operations or dx-Pedition.

For the 20 meters band (14 Mhz) you need approximately 10 meters of wire, 4,7m of coax-cable 50Ohm or 300Ohm with a connector about 30cm from the shortend end.
No tuner is required but can be used to better protect your transceiver.
