G3SYC designed this antenna in about 1990. The antenna works best between 15 and 20 feet off the ground, and can be worked some nice dx with it. The antenna is easily folded up and stored away when not in use, and has a minimal impact when erected .

- The gain figure includes ground gain (subtract 5.45 dB for free space gain)
- The elements are made from 0.5 inch (13mm) aluminium tube
- The boom is made from 1 inch (25mm) square section aluminium tube
- The elements are mounted on plastic dipole insulators found at most radio rallies
- A shorting strip is used across the terminals of the dipole insulator of the reflector
- The antenna performs best beween 15 and 20 ft above the ground
- Use the same balun arrangement as the 6 element lpy Yagi
