Inverted L Antenna for Low Bands
Spending most of my time at work, during the winter months chances to operate higher bands are even lower than during the rest of the year.
Winter it’s the right time to investigate and experiment the lower bands, where even in the after-work hours, those bands are opened and some QSOs are always possible.
I’ve been investigating a little bit on how can easily operate 40 80 and 160 meters additionally to my vertical antenna, that currently can operate a small portion of 80m and 40m.
Since I cannot effort half sizes wires, I’ve been forced to look into trapped dipoles antenna and I’ve found an interesting solution on the Inverted L antennas.
Just surfing on the net I’ve discoverered some interesting and limited spaces wire antenna solutions, that with a 25 metes wire antenna and a couple of traps it is possible to setupa an aerial capable to work 160  80 and 40 meters.
